Minima is a non-profit organisation that repurposes old phones into simpler, more minimalist communication devices. Donated phones are refurbished and resold at a price that covers processing and administrative costs.
Minima is our final project for the User Experience Design course taught by Magnus Feil at FH Joanneum in Graz during the winter semester of 2023/24. I collaborated with Laura Galvanetto, David Laßlberger, and Lucas Nuss on this project. Together, we worked on the campaign and the user interface for a nonprofit organisation.
Inspired by Zen
The logo is inspired by the Enso, a Zen Buddhist symbol of togetherness, traditionally drawn with a single brush stroke as a meditative act of letting go. We then created a coloured, digital version from one of our own brush drawings.
Combining Analogue and Digital

Our campaign posters combine handwritten brush lettering with the minimalist Lato font, suited for digital media. As in the packaging design, the user interface is reduced to essentials, allowing only necessary interactions without distractions.

User Interface
The user interface is highly minimal, offering only core functions like calls, messages, navigation, and calendar to help users avoid distractions and stay focused.
